Joliet West High School Key Club lends Helping Hand to Those in Need

Over the holiday season, the Joliet West High School Key Club participated in a variety of volunteer activities to help the less fortunate.

Recently, members traveled to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Libertyville to pack food for malnourished children. FMSC is a non-profit organization that is committed to eliminating starvation in children throughout the world.

During their four hour shift, students worked with other service organizations to pack over two thousand small pouches of food to be distributed to the nearly 70 countries that FMSC serves.

Joliet West High School Key Club members strive to serve the community..  “The Joliet West Key Club loves the opportunity to help those in need,” said Eva Book, public relations chair of the group.
