Time to bust out the scale and put away the Christmas cookies…2013 is upon us; and with it a multitude of plans, goals, and resolutions. While your personal resolutions might only last a week, now is a time to make changes to your business for the better.
Delegate Like a Boss
Heaven knows you have enough to do. Trust in your co-workers or subordinates and make a resolution to delegate non-essential tasks. If they drop the ball or can’t handle the responsibility, it may be time to hire.
Waste Not, Spend Less
There are plenty of things you can do to reduce waste, and therefore business costs: Reducing paper usage, turning off unessential lights, putting unused equipment to sleep, carpool, etc. Small changes could make a big difference- you might be surprised.
Tackle Taxes Early
Start your tax process early- like, January 1st or 2nd early. Last minute scrambling is so last year- this year, be proactive and make a schedule for yourself. Now that it’s a no-brainer to set alerts on your phone or computer, you have no excuse to fall behind.
It’s now or never- with a fresh start and a new year, now is the time to grow your business. Get a new client, hire a new employee, or move to that larger space. Let your resolution carry you into 2013 motivated and on top.
Now is the time for change- hurry, while your resolutions last!
