Joliet Park District Light Show Part of Holiday 'Extravaganza'

The clubhouse at the Inwood Golf Course Clubhouse is lit for the holidays with lights that are synchronized to music.

Inwood Golf Course has been dressed up for the holiday, one of several ways the Joliet Park District is celebrating the Christmas season.

Enter the course from Jefferson Street and you'll be greeted by a light show set up at the entrance, in the parking lot and on the clubhouse, which is decorated with lights synchronized to to music.

The district also has other special events planned as part of its "Holiday Extravaganza," such as the screening of holiday movies -- Elf at 4 p.m. Dec. 14 and the classic Charlie Brown Christmas at 4 p.m. Dec. 21.

For the adults, there's an ugly sweater party Dec. 7; a holiday party to celebrate Brian Leeg's birthday Dec. 13, and a wine and spirits evening Dec. 28. Each starts at 7 p.m.
