Brace Yourselves for Another Round of Storms

National Weather Service is reporting more than one line of storms that could effect our area.

Only days after more than , the area is bracing itself for another round.

"A line of severe storms continues to move through Will County with two distinct areas of most intense activity," Joliet Weather Center posted on its Facebook Page Sunday afternoon. "One area is Joliet and New Lenox and points south and east and another more powerful cluster is from Plainfield and Romeoville north, especially into southern DuPage County near Naperville."

Like the storm on Friday, rain, winds, lightning and hail are all possible.

"Wind gusts can be expected between 50 to 70 MPH on the southern end and between 80 to 100 MPH on the northern end," Joliet Weather Center reported. "This means major destruction and damage is possible this afternoon, please use extreme caution and stay indoors."
