USF Women's Cross Country Earns No. 4 Spot in NAIA Poll

JOLIET, Ill. – The University of St. Francis women's cross country team achieved its highest national ranking to date as the Saints climbed to No. 4 in the first NAIA Coaches Top-25 Poll of the 2013 regular season. | Poll

USF moved up five slots from its No. 9 preseason ranking following strong performances in its first two meets of the season. After capturing the team trophy at the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational on Aug. 30, the Saints placed second among 26 squads at the Calvin College Knight Invitational this past Saturday.

University of British Columbia earned the No. 1 spot with 23 first-place votes and 653 total points. College of Idaho (631 points) and California State University San Marcos (607) were next, followed by USF (561) and Biola University (547).
