Community Update

i took my car there and i was told i need a starter for a 2004 car..ok fine he tells me on the phone it'll be $444.00 that also included $60 for towing, so i tell him wow...ok i just need it fixed, so i get there when its done and i ask him if i can please have my old starter and he tells me itll be $45!! its a part that he took out the car thats gonna be junked !! so i say ok forget it that doesnt make sense so im writting my check out and he tells me its $469! i said thats way too much you told me different amount on phone now its MORE!! And he tells me oh , we dont except checks either, so i said this is freakin ridiculous he then slams his hands on counter and says " you know what put the car back in the garage!"...i left,had my husband go back with cash because im so angry..and my husband tells me they couldnt get the car started!! after all that drama! now im getting it towed from there to a different HONEST mechanic...so people DONT GO THERE!!!!!
