Reader Nicole Bittermann spoke with a security guard about the filming in Minooka and was told this:

"Movie set is off on Van Dyke Rd between Arbitrer and McKanna Rds. The security guard said that the roads will be blocked off as soon as Channing and Mila arrive."

It sounds like fans now know where the location is and are gathering in the fields around the farm but may not get very close to the action. If anyone does get a shot, please email it to karen@patch.com.

And thanks to Nicole for the photo of the farm where they will be shooting this afternoon.

If you've ever wanted to get an in-person look at a Hollywood movie star, today may be your chance.

Multiple sources, including WJOL-AM (1340), are reporting that scenes are being filmed in the Joliet and Minooka areas for a film called "Jupiter Ascending," and that stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis are on the set.

Word is they're using the school for crew equipment and to serve lunch, and that they're doing actual shooting at a barn in Minooka.

"Jupiter Ascending" is a science fiction action film, according to imdb.com, which describes the plot as this: "In a universe where humans are near the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, a young destitute human woman is targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe because her very existence threatens to end the Queen's reign."

Aux Sable School is located at 2001 Windspring Parkway. It's in Joliet, but has a Plainfield mailing address and is part of Plainfield School District 202.

We'd love your help as well. Should you shoot any photos of the movie stars, please email them to karen@patch.com. We'll post them and give you a photo credit.
