Saw It on eBay: Harrah's/Ducks Unlimited Blackjack Knife
The seller is asking $170 for this 6-inch knife, which is engraved with the names of the casino and the duck-hunting organization.
Once a week, we check what Joliet items are being sold on eBay and this was definitely a first. The seller of this Harrah's Casino Joliet/Ducks Unlimited knife says "you don't see many of these," and that is the truth -- at least in this category.
Here's what else he had to say about the blackjack fixed blade knife, which he is selling for $170.
"You don't see many of these! You are bidding on a USA Effingham, Illinois Blackjack Fixed Blade Knife (Knife ONLY No Sheath) - The knife is the trail guide model - It is very unique in that the blade reads "Harrah's Joliet Casino ILLINOIS DUCKS UNLIMITED" - The knife is in perfect condition, no evidence of use or sharpening - Hardwood handles perfect - Blade is A-2 Tool Steel - Overall length 9" - Blade is about 4-3/4" including tang area."
There were six "watchers" as of Sunday. The sale ends Saturday afternoon (assuming no one buys it before then).
