ComEd Honors National Volunteer Week with Community Garden Makeover at Warren-Sharpe Community Center

Employee volunteers from ComEd partnered with the Warren-Sharpe Community Center to honor National Volunteer Week. The volunteers created a community garden at the center on Saturday, April 12.

The employee volunteer event is part of ComEd’s company-wide observance of National Volunteer Week (April 6-12) and National Volunteer Month (April), an annual nationwide celebration of people working to improve their communities through service.  The event is one of more than 30 community service projects ComEd employees are leading in celebration of National Volunteer Week and National Volunteer Month.
