Applications Being Taken for Deputy Coroner Job

The Will County Coroner's Office is seeking to fill a deputy coroner position, which pays $16.81 an hour/$36,723 a year.

This is the job description: Provide support to Will County Coroner’s Office by responding to death scenes, filling out reports, facilitating body removals, notifications, assisting at autopsies, and perform other duties as assigned by the Coroner and/or supervisor.

Applicants must be Will County residents and have a minimum of an associate's s degree in related field required or five years verifiable prior experience in related field of death investigation; a valid driver's license and auto insurance; a flexible schedule to accommodate overtime.
