What's in Your Trunk? Halloween Treats?

Plus, local headlines that didn't make today's newsletter.

Trunk ‘n Treat?

Yes, that’s what it is called. And, yes, it’s a Halloween party named for what it is by the folks at Grace United Methodist Church, 1718 Avalon Ave., Joliet. Take it from one of the event organizers:

“The children will come in costume to trick-or-treat from car-to-car. Some folks will have games, others simply will pass out candy. We will also have a popcorn machine popping delicious treats, a hay rack ride and Batman will make an appearance for photo opportunities.”
