Well, this is something worth thinking about! However, I think one can over think this too much,Read Morethi nking that it means d-o-g. I did some quick research and you are right, the word is a new European name and it is unknown how it came about. But God can be anything you want it to be. Yahweh is my God and Yeshua is my Lord. But other people has different Gods. But ultimately I think what matters is the intent of the meaning in ones heart and mind.

I really don't think the name God is back masking for dog, but the music issue was true with someRead Morea rtists. Can't extrapolate to every little thing, like peoples (or God's) names. But I'm not surprised you try to insinuate that, Amin...

I myself also prefer Yeshua, but there are many many words that have double or triple meanings andRead Morea re derived from a totaly different word. What matters is your intention when using it. I think God knows the difference. To obsess about the different meanings is bondage and not of God.

The big ag companies fight with millions of dollars to say GMO products are OK. If so, be proud and Read Morelabel your product as GMO. They don' because they don't know the outcome of eating it. It has never been scientifically proved. They tell you that cross pollinating is comparable to GMO. It is. But with this caveat. It is cross pollinated with its own naturally occurring genes. The GMO that big ag does is manipulate the genetic structure artificially. Now no insects or birds populate farm fields. Especially those that pollinate all our other crops. And one of the biggest sins of GMO is to try to create a bigger yield so we can run our engines. Food for fuel. FFF.even the farmers I know think that is wrong.
