Joliet Central High School seniors Sharod Wilson and Treyvon Zabala both earned high rankings at the IHSA State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.
Wilson (45-4) took third place at 182 pounds, and Zabala (48-1) took third place at 120 pounds.
"Trayvon and Sharod proved that they are at the elite level in the state by placing 3rd at the state meet,” said Head Coach Pat O’Connell. “Sharod has 100 career wins, while Trayvon has over 150 wins. Both should be very successful at the collegiate level."
JTHS congratulates these talented wrestlers.
