UPDATE: Joliet West's Anthony DiNardo is Patch MVP

Joliet West's Anthony DiNardo threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers' 48-0 victory over Thornridge. Then, he outpolled two others in fan balloting for Patch MVP, Aug. 20-26. DiNardo now is eligible for Patch Athlete of the Month honors.

In voting for Patch's MVP for Aug. 20-26, who gets the biggest roar from the crowd?
Joliet Catholic Academy's Claire O'Connor shot a round of 45 in the Angels' victory over Queen of Peace (185-244). She earlier earned top-10 medals for her performances in the Marian Classic and JT Invite. She also posted a score of 42 in a nine-hole match at Glendale Lakes.

DiNardo is not only a very good QB but a great all around athlete. He's only a junior and has a ton of potential this year and next if he stays healthy. He's also one of the areas best pitchers and can play any position on the diamond. Good Luck DiNardo!
