The University of St. Francis is holding a public grand opening Wednesday for its USF Challenge Center

The event, being held in conjunction with the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and will take place outdoors at the low ropes course site at 409 Nicholson St., Joliet.

The center’s programs emphasize skills, strategies and behaviors necessary for effective leadership within an organization. Participants are guided by trained facilitators in fun, action-oriented activities that help to promote trust, cooperation, integrity and respect between colleagues to build stronger partnerships.

The grand opening will highlight programs, facilities and give attendees an opportunity to meet members of the staff.
