Three things: 1) No where does it say what evidence was found. This includes video tape. 2) Even though this article sounds a little politically motivated, there really isn't any connection here between any government party and the actions that took place. I'm sure these allegations and crimes are not supported by either party. 3) How in the world does a 76-year-old hook up with a 32-year-old? I mean, I know the bigger issue here is the sex scandal, but really, how does this happen? I feel like I need to take notes for the future.

Anyone else notice that the Joliet Police Chief Mike Trafton is going out of his way to assign guilt and to even create the impression that there is something more going on, while the FBI is keeping silent about the investigation. The statement "We know that there's going to be more victims," Trafton said. "We have reason to believe that there are other boys involved as well that were victims." Is extremely odd to make during an ongoing investigation. Its almost as if he is trying to promote create a case in the public eye, instead of allowing his investigation to speak for itself in court. The political season is clearly at hand.

While reading the Huffpost, I caught the article written by Joseph Housey. A DEMOCRAT OFFICIAL. Really? Precinct committeemen or women must be a very intricate part of the Joliet political scene. I'm from Springfield and our precinct committee folk make sure people register and vote. They may from time to time help someone secure an interview for work. But calling them a party official is overstating their position in the food chain. Why would you do that?

Your Headline by its tone was more of a conviction than an allegation of wrong doing. Do you know something and are not sharing it with your readers? I suspect you do not. A lot of self serving comments here. "Justice," which audience are you playing to? If she has not bonded out, do you really expect her to answer you? Others are putting words in the woman's mouth. I especially like how "justice" states, "I will not stop till justice is served." Are you both the prosecuter and jury that you have to answer your own questions?
If she is guilty then I am all for the maximum penalty. Until, then people with innuendo and no facts should butt the hell out. I've heard of witchburnings with more verified evidence and less heresay, or is that heresy? Maybe we can pass a new law specifically for this case like they did with Drew Petersen to make sure our opinions outweigh the presented facts.
