Teen Slain on Lois Place: Update

An 18-year-old was killed Monday night at the Lois Place apartments.

 

A Joliet teenager was gunned down on Lois Place Monday night.

Tevin Bridges, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting shortly after 11:15 p.m., according to a statement released early Tuesday morning by Will County Coroner Patrick O'Neil's office.

No one from the Joliet Police Department could be reached for comment Tuesday morning.

Ten minutes after Bridges was pronounced dead, a man was arrested at the scene of the shooting. Treston Adams, 20, of 403 Summit St. was taken into custody on a charge of resisting or obstructing a police officer.

According to Will County Sheriff's Department records, Bridges also lived at 403 Summit St.

Adams was arrested at 1019 Lois Place. He was later released on his own recognizance.

I did not know this kid but its a crying shame when a old fool would shoot a person because his fists are bald up. You selling drugs good they got you. Dont drop the soap.
