Small Power Outage Not Storm Related
Joliet customers lost power early Monday morning.
About 2,000 ComEd customers found themselves without power early Monday morning. ComEd spokesperson Martha Swaney said the outage was caused by an equipment failure at Ingalls Avenue and Gaylord Road in Crest Hill.
"The primary affected area was in Joliet," she said.
Power went out around 3:45 a.m. By 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, all service had been restored. The outage had nothing to do with the storms that rolled through the area Monday.
