Biggest case of nothing in the history of the planet. People who are in the process of getting divorced say all kinds of nasty things to and about each other.

This will be NOT GUILTY and I wouldn't be surprised if Judge Burmila closes the case with his own "directed finding of not guilty" at the end of the prosecution's case, considering the opportunities he's had to rule against the prosecution so far. Considering that SA Glasgow is a lightweight murder case prosecutor, I'm a bit surprised that he would take on such a case and act as the lead prosecutor. Normally, when an attorney doesn't know what he or she is doing, you get someone with a ton of experience to work a case with you.

Even if Peterson is found "guilty", he will win on appeal and the County and its taxpayers will pay out the largest amount of damages to Peterson when he files his federal lawsuit for malicious prosecution or ????? The Fox case (Paid out about $5-8 million) will pale in comparison to what will be paid here. Think $10-25 million to him.

Bruno, I have an issue with that. That question was posed to Judge White on InSession the other day, and his response is the opposite of what you are saying. In other words, he said there is no basis, based on the charges, that Peterson can sue and win the millions you say he is going to get.

Would you care to enlighten us as to how this is going to happen? Malicious prosecution? What attorney is going to take on this on? Peterson has been at the trial court level, Appellate court level and Illinois Supreme court level, and has been amply represented in a criminal charge. What is the basis for this multi-million dollar lawsuit that only you seem to be on board with? Attorneys who would even take this on (not that I believe any would) would do so on a contingency-fee basis. They would have to spend hours upon hours (if there's even a basis for this so-called lawsuit) preparing, researching, deposing witnesses and trying this case, and HAVE TO WIN in order to get a dime in fees. That's not even taking into consideration the output of costs.

I guess I'd have to say this. Bring it.

Yeah, Screen, it does look like things are swaying on the side of the prosecution the last couple of days, but still wish the judge would let the State put on their complete case, rather than helping out the murder defendant the way he has been doing. By that, I mean, allowing in the bathtub itself, the testimony about Peterson making a hole in the drywall from the garage to the house, letting the videos in he and his goof of a lawyer participated in through the media, and last, but not least, the financial gains he realized by having his ex-wife wiped off the face of the earth! What a motive to have that windfall of money fall into his greedy hands after her death! What jury wouldn't want to know what he stood to gain when she died?

Screen_name just got a call from someone at the old job today and they read your comments and they don't understand how you have ill welled feelings for someone that probably never done wrong to you or haven't worked with you most likely in over twenty years.
