In voting for Joliet Patch's MVP for Jan. 21-27, who gets the biggest roar from the crowd?
Joliet Central's Markel Ellis showed off his long-range shooting capabilities during the MLK Day of Hoops event. Ellis rained down three 3-pointers in Joliet Central's 72-68 overtime loss to Mount Carmel. He finished with 13 points.
Joliet Catholic Academy's Drake Fellows continues to show signs of growing more accustomed to varsity-level play. He hit double figures (10 points) in JCA's 54-30 loss to West Chicago. Fellows started the season on the sophomore level.
