Joliet Catholic Academy's Destiny Nash outpolled two others in voting for Joliet Patch MVP, Jan. 28-Feb. 3. She is now eligible for Patch Athlete of the Month honors.

In voting for Joliet Patch's MVP for Jan. 25-Feb. 3, who gets the biggest roar from the crowd?
Joliet West's Jayvin Bandy defeated Minooka's Danny Ruettiger 4-2 to win the 132-pound championship in the Joliet Central Regional. Bandy (31-5) helped Joliet West notch a fourth-place finish in the tournament.
Jason McNear had 14 points and five rebounds in Joliet Central's 56-53 overtime victory over Lincoln-Way Central. And, coach Jeff Corcoran said McNear has been on the Joliet Central's top defenders all season.

DestinyNash is a profound well mannered young lady. She may but small in size but she goes hard on the hardwood like a giant. She has a huge passion for the game and is a true leader. I wish Destiny and JCA lady Angels Best of Luck in the up and coming playoffs!
