Kids Experiment with Bubbles at Joliet Library
Bubbleology gave kids a chance to paint, create and play with bubbles.
Kids of all shapes and sizes gathered at the Joliet Public Library in downtown Joliet last week to play with bubbles.
The program encourage them to try out different stations in which they could create bubble "bombs," in which bubbles, vinegar and baking soda were mixed together to create a loud bang, and experiment with bubble art.
The event was part of the summer children's program at the library. While bubbleology s not being repeated, there's a kids' program on rocket science from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Black Road Branch and one in which children can create a car from a paper towel tube from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the downtown branch.
To register for either event, visit the library Web site.
