Drew Peterson Lawyer Trying To Say Something About Death Tub
The supposed "lead" attorney for accused wife-killer Drew Peterson sent the Herald-News an email about the county allegedly playing it cheap.
Just a few days ago, we heard about the couple who bought the former home of accused wife-killer Drew Peterson and how they had no idea his slain wife's body was found in their bathtub until much later.
Now the so-called "lead attorney" for the disgraced former cop is calling out Will County investigators in an email to the Joliet Herald-News, claiming they stiffed the couple on plumbing repairs associated with removing the tub to preserve it as evidence.
The story quotes Brodsky's email:
“'And all they payed (sic) him for was the value of the tub and faucet, not for any labor of a plubmer (sic) to have to re-install the tub (the most expensive part),'" Brodsky wrote in an email. "'He told me he is made (sic) at the cops because they mislead (sic) him about being paid, and now he won’t do anything without a court order.'”
We haven't run this email by a law professor yet, but if we understand Brodsky, he is saying the new owner, Rodolfo Hernandez, is mad at the county because they misled him and only paid for the tub and not the plumber.
That's a serious allegation. If it's true, something should be done about it. Those plumbers can get expensive, especially if they have you over a barrel.

Haaaaaaaaaaa, Peterson's lead lawyer isn't very good at grasping the basics of spelling and grammar, but he didn't fare much better running a liquor/food business, which he used his client to promote.
What would one expect from a lawyer who was suspended from practicing law for signing a dead man's name to a check? Oh, Drew, you can pick 'em.
You reep what you sew. :-)

Watchful Eye: ironic, much? It's spelled reap and the saying is that you reap what you sow, not sew.
However, I agree with your sentiment behind your statement.

Isn't this the responsibility of the Homeowner and his legal representative rather then being related to the case in perpetuity. Why, oh why do we continue to give this individual any attention through coverage? Oh, I know. It sells.

Pro streeter - Hope your job isn't anything to do with being a reporter, or media type, or you'd have to endure people telling you what is suitable to their liking. What is your job all about? Like it when someone gets in your face about your job?
I am amazed at the few that read these stories, then come on to post their silly comments about the content. Don't read it then. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yeah he came out to my house over the water main breaking and jotted some stuff down on the piece of paper and screwed the news story up a little but he did come out,and he did talk to the city about it,but he did make it look like the city had a legitimate point the water main breaking in July because of frost from winter...lol which there is no frost in July 5 feet deep, nor did he put that the city was dumping asphalt on the water main which contaminates the water with chemicals,EPA makes it illegal to bury asphalt on water main and they were not flushing out hydrants when done cutting cast iron pipe and just letting it go into people's houses...The main reason I wanted the story in the paper in the first place..To inform people no to drink the water until after they fixed the main....5 times inn3 months...finally got redone
