Alleged Partying Killers Indicted for Murder

A Will County grand jury has handed down indictments against the four people who allegedly killed two Joliet men and then partied after committing the crime.

The four people accused of murdering two men and then partying and playing video games while the corpses were still in the house have been indicted by a Will County grand jury.

The decision means the jury, meeting in closed hearings to review evidence from the Will County State's Attorney's Office, decided there was sufficient grounds to charge Adam Landerman, 19, Alisa Massaro, 18, Joshua Miner, 24, all of Joliet, and Bethany McKee, 18, of Shorewood, with six counts of first-degree murder.

Confirmation of the indictment was reported Thursday by the Joliet Herald News. The four will enter pleas during arraignments Tuesday.

The murder charges stem from the Jan. 10 strangulation deaths of Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins, both 22 and of Joliet, in Massaro's 1121 N. Hickory St. home.

Joliet police said the four suspects invited the two men to the Joliet house with the intention of robbing and killing them. The victims were found with plastic bags over their heads, according to sources, and police allege the group's intention had been to dismember them.

A tip -- reportedly made by McKee's father to the Shorewood police, according to the Herald News -- brought Joliet police to the house, where they found Landerman, Massaro and Miner playing video games, police said. Landerman is the son of Joliet Sgt. Julie Larson.

Several pieces of key evidence have been turned over to defense attorneys, the newspaper also reported. Among them, videotaped interviews with the suspects; phone conversations the defendants made from the Will county jail; inventory reports from the vehicles driven by McKee and Glover and Rankins; and the search warrant for Massaro’s house.

The kids killed deserve more of a story than the kids who killed....so the less we comment on their stories the less attention they are getting...The only way any of them know about their fame here in Joliet is by relatives and people who went to jail spreading it around..But they do not get to watch the news nor get the paper anymore..I say Psss on em..

I am interested to hear their defense, or their attempt at a defense.
Will cameras be allowed in court? This case is sicker than the Manson murders.

Im related to one of the suspects and the one im related to feels really horrible about what went on in that house. We did not talk about what happened because i did not want to know. I do not agree with what happened i do think its disgusting but truly no one knows what happened in house. I do know which one was the ring leader. And im sure u all can figure that one out as well. And the four did not invite those kids there only one of the suspects where friends with those boys ( my they rest in peace) i feel so bad for all families involved.
