Accused Killers Confessed to Having Sex on the Bodies, Police Reports Reveal

Nightmare on Hickory Street, Part 1: After the savage strangling of two young men, two of the accused killers decided to have sex atop the corpses of the victims, police learned.

Joshua Miner remembered his teenage girlfriend confiding “years back that she wanted to have sex with a dead guy,” states a police report documenting last month’s double murder on Hickory Street.

That's why Miner got the idea to ask girlfriend Alisa Massaro to have sex with him on the corpses of two men he's accused of helping to kill, police said.

Massaro “made a smirk on her face” and said she didn’t want to, according to the reports, but when being questioned by police, she “later acknowledged she and Josh did have sexual intercourse on top of the bodies.”

The reports obtained by Patch detail the differing versions of events described by the two young men and two young women—Miner, 24, Massaro, 18, Adam Landerman, 19, and Bethany McKee, 18—accused of luring two men to Massaro’s Hickory Street home and strangling them.

Police found the bodies of Terrance Rankins and Eric Glover, both 22, face down inside the house on Joliet’s near west side on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 10. Plastic bags were tied around the dead men’s heads, according to the reports. One of the men was bound, the other looked as if his hands had been tied at one time.

After the men were killed, McKee left Massaro’s house at least two times, according to statements in the police reports, including one trip to take her year-old child to a babysitter. On her way out for one of these excursions, McKee reportedly saw Miner set the scene for his sex romp with Massaro.

“McKee related that during the night that Josh wanted to put the bodies together, which they did, side by side and they put something over the bodies, which was beige in color and they were going to have sex on top of the bodies,” a report said. “McKee relates that she did not stick around for that ..."

McKee also told police Landerman may have been involved, too.

“McKee did relate that she thought Adam and Alisa had sex because they were talking about having a three-way on top of the bodies that were laying on the floor,” a report stated.

“McKee relates that Alisa agreed with having sex on the bodies because she just wanted to go along with Josh and that they had been together a long time,” the report stated. “McKee related during the whole interview that Josh was the one responsible for most of these actions and Adam had just followed along and had only known Josh for this past week but was more of the (follower) in this and Josh was more of the leader.”

McKee also reportedly told police that Miner “scared” her.

rabid atheist- you need to read a history book. Even the scientific american "mind" magainze outlined Hitler's atheism and the atheism his socialist government promulgated through public schools. You are obviously a liar using typical liberal sophistry in an attempt to avoid the obvious. Hitler was not a practising "Catholic", he even went so far as to threaten the vatican with a papal assassination and displacing the pope. Nothing you have said contains any intellectual merit. As for Luke 19:27- Jesus was discussing a parable you dolt. I understand literary instruments are above you, but for goddness sake.

Peter, I'll start with you. Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith ...we need believing people. - Adolf Hitler, April 26, 1933, speech made during negotiations leading to the Nazi-Vatican Concordant
"In Freethinkers Hall, which before the Nazi resurgence was the national headquarters of the German Freethinkers League, the Berlin Protestant church authorities have opened a bureau for advice to the public in church matters. Its chief object is to win back former churchgoers and assist those who have not previously belonged to any religious congregation in obtaining church membership. The German Freethinkers League, which was swept away by the national revolution, was the largest of such organizations in Germany. It had about 500,000 members..."

- The New York Times, May 14, 1933, page 2, on Hitler's outlawing atheistic and freethinking groups in the Spring of 1933, after the Enabling Act authorizing Hitler to rule by decree
History is a funny thing when you actually read it. He made atheism illegal, but keep reading revisionist history if that works for you.

Why is it that when atheists post comments they rarely, if ever, attack, name call, accuse, or belittle their opponents... Yet when someone who is allegedly of faith will attack and stand smug and self-righteous.

Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but I would expect a 'man of faith' to lead by example and not by degrading another human. Peter.... you seriously look like an asshole. To convince one of God and possibly 'save' them from Hell this is NOT the way to do it. Douche bag.

"Alisa ....just wanted to go along with Josh..."

Aside from this Josh Miner, who sounds like he was spawn of Satan, what would possess three people the ages of these sick beings to become so cold, callous and uncaring as to engage in what's been uncovered here? Drugs? Mental illness? How much of this kind of sick way of life is really happening? This isn't about girls trying to impress guys, acting stupid or silly. This is about taking lives. The desecration of bodies. They obviously did not use any thought processes to consider the consequences of what was going to happen to them once the crime was discovered. They took no steps to hide their horrific deeds. I am at a loss as to grasp how they lived in the moment and ignored the enormity of what would befall them once the bodies were discovered. Miner and Massaro thought enough of the moment to carry out a sex act on top of dead bodies, but didn't flinch at the thought they took two lives? How, why? How does this happen?

Oh Tom, your view of history is much too narrow. Human beings have been committing these depraved acts against one another since the dawn of time, you just hear about it much quicker thanks to a 24 hour news cycle, and sensational journalism. The only difference is now you want to blame video games, movies, and music, ignoring the FACT that the most disgusting acts of depravity throughout history have been done at the hands of people that had god on their side.

How can you blame tv and video games for this Tom? How many people do you think saw slaughterhouse? How many kids do you think play Call of Duty? I would like to venture a guess that those numbers are in the millions just based on the fact that when I log on to Call of Duty it shows how many other people are logged on at the same time as me and that number is generally in the 4 to 5 hundred thousand range. When are all these idiots out there going to stop blaming tv movies and games for everyones bad behavior and step up and take responsibility for their own actions or lack there of. Its the parents not paying attention to their kids and catching the fact that they have a problem. No matter what the age of a person, if that person is a risk to themselves or others they can be forcibly committed to an institution. If these parents or any other parents of kids or adults that do these kinds of things payed any attention and got their kids the help they needed I bet these numbers would dramatically decline but no its much easier to blame tv movies or games. STOP listening to these stupid politicians that want to blame everyone but themselves for cutting funding for mental health facilities.

Now, now, Mr. atheist---let's not blame God, please. I do agree it's been going on since the fall of man---it's called a sinful nature....I also think the media, violent videos and movies and even rap music--anything that affects the mind, along with drugs/alcohol, and inherent mental/rage issues, and sometimes parental neglect or abuse, all can have an effect---now, I could be wrong, so don't be hatin' me. It's just my take. :) PEACE!

to rabidatheist, please tell me how and why something you don't believe in scares you so much... please take a good look at what Christ preached, love, helping your neighbors, forgiveness, redemption, ...... Any one can hijack a message and distort it to persuade people into action, but most of those people are weak and ignorant of the actual message. Im not one to blame anyone except the person/people who commit the crimes, however you cant deny that the blood lust in movies and video games and society in general can seriously desensitize kids when they have no moral grounding, and that starts at home. True sick people have existed throughout history, and have taken advantage of peoples fears and ignorance and their faiths, however God wasn't on their side, this Im sure of.

You see, I have, from cover to cover, several times, and either you are being intentionally deceitful, or you don't know what is actually in the Bible. This is Luke 19:27 in which Jesus tells a parable, and you do know what a parable is don't you? "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me."

Rangerlutt, you need to visit a library and pick up a history book. Hitler was a practicing Catholic until the day he died. The opening line to your oath to Hitler was "Before god I swear", so we'll scratch him off as an atheist.
As for Pol Pot, Prince Norodom Sihanouk was the former king of Cambodia from 1941 as well as Head of State from 1955 to 1970 before resigning in 1976. He once said of Pol Pot:
"Pol Pot does not believe in God but he thinks that heaven, destiny, wants him to guide Cambodia in the way he thinks it the best for Cambodia" Not an atheist.

Dear Rebidateist,
I do understand what a parable is, if you have read the bible cover to cover then you shouldn't have missed the preceding paragraphs of said parable. If you had read them you would know it wasn't Jesus talking about himself or telling people to kill non believers in front of him lol. I will explain the rest of the parable if you wish but it seems you cherry picked the last part and ignored the rest. I don't resort to insulting or comments which amount to nothing more than backhanded insults which by reading your posts is your weapon of choice, however a word you may want to become familiar with is context. BTW my faith or non-faith is of no matter here, my point is simple, someones faith in God or a god is of no importance here, it is moral grounding which i was speaking of, self respect, respect for others, respect for life..

Well my friend the message is pretty clear to me that evil can not exist in the kingdom of heaven as described by the bible. And God will cast out those who are not on his side. Its pretty clear what Christ is saying there you cant serve both Satan and God and in the end he will judge you based on what is in your heart. Either way this article is pretty clear... my original comment was just as clear, regardless of my belief system, or religion, or lack of either lol I blame the individuals who commit such crimes for their own actions. Children are impressionable and if they don't have a grounding in reality, then I imagine these games, tv, movies, music... etc will fill that void and again desensitize them to the real pain they cause when committing such acts of violence, maybe the word you'd understand is stinkfisting.... either way if you want to tell me Jesus was a man who preached violence and killing everyone who wont believe as you do then Im not here to change your mind or be part of a bible study I was merely commenting on the acts of these 4 sick twisted people.

What would possess them to do this, you ask. 1) How about the removal of God from every inch of the public square. 2) Teaching these kids that they evolved from apes, and are nothing more than intelligent animals. 3) Lastly, the complete government sanctioned destruction of the family. I would bet my life on it that these animals come from one parent homes, and that parent being a mother -- a self absorbed one, at that. Products of the societal environment. Good is now evil, and evil is now acceptable. That's what possessed the animals to do this.

I was going to counter "rabidatheists" assertion that "Human beings have been committing these depraved acts against one another since the dawn of time", which while a factually true statement, is misleading and actually a non-sequitur. (it's rate of incidents that's important, and a review of modern history shows that some cultures - by logical extension some time periods - expressed more bloodlust and depravity than others) However, reading his later posts and Googling his claims proves he is a rabid liar, and probably a troll trying to make atheists look bad. There would be no point in arguing.

Thing to remember is if you don't have God in your life, especially in these wacky days as our world is being controlled by Satan, you can't be certain of anything. Give your hearts to Jesus Christ for the redemption of your sins and for protection from evil like this. These kids had to LOVE death! Satan loves death and anyone connected to him loves it too, hence the violent video games, movies, death metal, death rap, etc. Our culture is enthralled with death and if they don't give their lives to Christ, they are going to get all of it they could ever imagine.

rabidathesit- hitler stating "in god's name" means nothing. He was using God's name as a literary device in the same manner all liberals use "God"- to lie and garner support from people who think themselves God-fearing people. Hitler using the term "God" is as meaningless to him as using the term "my struggle". Liberal atheists use God because theyare dishonest by nature, and they need something to gain support- what better than to appeal to people who are easily fooled? Hitler was not remotely catholic. Calling yourself a catholic and then promoting atheism and everything antithetical to catholicism is like saying you're a chicken because you stick feathers in your butt.

As for you Ed Quirk....According to biographer John Toland, Hitler was still "a member in good standing of the Church of Rome despite his detestation of its hierarchy, he carried within himself its teaching that the Jew was the killer of God. The extermination, therefore, could be done without a twinge of conscience since he was merely acting as the avenging hand of God — so long as it was done impersonally, without cruelty." "He carried within himself IT'S (Catholic) TEACHING", get it yet, ho got it right from the Bible?

I totally agree with you, John Markasovic. I know a lot of people who play war-type video games and I know they are no more capable of engaging in that type of violent behavior than I am of becoming a brain surgeon. I doubt that these games and the violence they portray are capable of turning a "normal" person into a crazed killer. Somewhere deep within the psyche of someone capable of depraved violence, the capability has always existed. Let's take a look at the background of these four killers & I'll bet there's a long-standing pattern of abnormal behavior that may have been squelched had there been an intervention of some type. Doesn't seem that this just happens overnight or at the snap of your fingers. There must have been warning signs!

(I believe) truly Josh's (and the others) only hope is God. God is merciful, and will forgive him if he truly repents, but he may certainly still face some ugly consequences----we reap what we sow. Remember Jeffrey Dahlmer? I think he found that out not long after he entered prison. These people just made some very ungodly, unwise decisions, and it just didn't happen in a vacuum. They had to be doing something to mess their thinking up for awhile---this kind of activity doesn't "just happen". At one time I would guess all of these kids were sweet little babies, toddlers---something happened over time, something evil influenced them. Society's really messed up, and things aren't getting any better. Yes, they'll go to jail, but what about the next one and the next? I believe it's time to seriously turn back to God as a nation, and welcome Him back in our schools and public places, like putting the 10 commandments in the courthouses, etc. Once again, just my opinion, but it would not hurt anyone, and it may help--at least that's a start! Unfortunately there's too many people fighting against that, and causing such a stir because they got offended at God. As for me, I got over Santa Claus and Cinderella and Snow White a long time ago, and only seek Truth and fact now that I'm an adult, and I find that in the Bible---there are absolutely no fairy tales or myths there.

We who know the truth must always strive for balance - please don't loose your faith in humanity, but instead counter every evil deed with a good deed. Old enough to be agnostic, (after reading and studying several "major" religions) but not ignorant enough to believe that most (uncorrupted) religions - do more good than harm. The basics of all religions are the same - do unto others, respect, self control and discipline. What varies the most is the dogma - which I argue is actually the meaningless part of all religions.....

GNAC, so lying to people is ok? And if you think the core of the religions is to be good to your neighbor, you missed a whole lot of writing. Be good to your neighbor, as long as they believe in the same god as you, if not convert them, kill them or condemn them to eternal punishment is what they say. As an agnostic you should know better than that, we unbelievers actually read the books.

Used to be a time when we could post "Thou shalt not kill" on a school's walls. Or, "Do not commit adultery". But we've kicked God out, and since nature abhor's a vacuum, is it really a surprise that this is what we get? The nation is out of control and going down fast, and unless we return to the Lord it is only going to get worse - much worse.

The only good thing about this article is that they were caught. They seemed to enjoy this too much and showed no remorse, and would probably do it again. They even look the part.

stigimoloch - historically - you (We the People) were responsible for our own security and that of your neighbor(s). A paid police force (which has no duty to protect you- supreme court) is a relatively recent idea - that is not proving to work out very well. In fact, all they do now is document and investigate - rarely do they actually protect. Better get a gun while you can (opps - your in ILLinois? where you have let your inalienable rights be stripped without a fight!) - get a bat, a knife, a chain, body armor, whatever you can unless you are willing to be a vicitm. I wish you luck - for you it is just a lottery since you agreed to give the state dominion over your safety. Maybe, you and a few neighbors can form a neighborhood militia and do the job the police won't do.

Agreed Jesher - I can't imagine why unbelieving people would find the sexual aspect in this case to be wrong. Having sex on dead bodies could just be these people's "sexual orientation"! Who are we to judge that. Maybe they've were born with the desire to have sex on dead bodies. If they were born that way, then there's no way that it could ever be wrong. Right?

rabidatheist - I'm not really able to connect your response to my comment. I had made this argument: Logically these people's necrophilic activity should be acceptable to those who believe sexual-desire equals social-acceptability (the "born that way" fallacy). You then responded by attacking the Bible as an illegitimate source of moral truth.

As a Christian, the Bible is my primary source of theological revelation. But I don't see what that has to do with the weakness of the weaknesses of the "born that way" argument. That argument is weak, dangerous and unstable regardless of the authority of the Bible.

This comment is for all who are blaming the parents of those accused of the murders of Terrance Rankins and Eric Glover:
Why would you so ignorantly blame the people who raised the 4 suspects for this tragedy? Should we blame your parents (parent/legal guardian) for everything you've done wrong up to this point in your life? Blame them for "Your Lying" (no matter how small your lie was)? Blame them for "Your Stealing" (no matter how little you stole)" Blame them for "Your Lust" (no matter if it was just with your eyes or just in your thoughts)?
These 4 adults who have been accused of committing this terrible crime are being held responsible for their own actions and will answer for them in a court of law. If they are found guilty, they will be appropriately sentenced and punished for their crimes according to the law. But based on your comments, it would seem as though the parents should also bear the same fate as their children who are accused of committing this terrible crime. But I'm glad we live in a world of truth & reality not a world of retribution & fantasy where everyone who has had the responsibility of rearing children should bear the same fate as their children if they have committed bad acts, regardless to how great or small they were.
No matter what you think or how you may feel about these suspects, to blame the parents for the actions of their children is completely unfair. The parents had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to these two young men.

Dysfunction in the home contributes to this not everyone that borns kids is fit to be a parent, not every kid that tells their parents I love you means it, to follow god or not to follow god is ones choice but one should educate themselves on god first before they decide to criticize or mock it or be for it, it is ignorance and lack of knowledge that casues people to insult others for what they choose, I don't know any of those people but it sounds like they are in the right place, the world will always be polluted and there will always be bad and good the 2 are left for us to decide, the choice you make today effects you tomorrow and the days after. That's why when people choose to commit crime they serve time you can blame whoever you want for your problems but the choice is up to you on how you will live your life, and it is you who chooses your friends, and your partners in life not anyone else and among theses choices you still decide to do good or bad and it effects you today and there after. Just because we all went through the same levels in school doesn't mean we are all successful those who listen and learned went farther up than those who didn't. We are all given the same tools for success but not everyone is successful. Is it the tools or the people using them.

I don't condone what happened here at all. These kids are sick and need to be dealt with as the egregious murders they are.

Unfortunately in Modern America, the slant is clear. Because the victims were black this is a media story. If they were white it wouldn't be touched with a ten foot pole.

Some of you have stated is the culture that has declined and allowed this to happen, I agree, but I add, the media is complicit and has been trying to further an agenda for 40+ years now.

These terrible murders, they happen to all people of all skin colors by people of all skin colors.

Statistically a white man is more likely to be a serial murder and a black man is more likely to kill a black man.

The over reporting of these stories show a clear racial agenda. The media needs to stop before they end up with a race war that they CANNOT control as they have in the past.

rabidatheist - You wrote "unless you can produce some evidence for a god". Ample evidence is easy to find using Google Earth. I will show you one example. Compare what you read in the following Bible verses against what you see on the ground at the corresponding coordinates.

Exodus 14:28 (29.042, 34.7757) See Jewish Progress 5 Photo.

Exodus 17:6 (28.7239, 35.2351) See the Rock of Horeb.

Exidus 19:18-19 (28.2907209, 35.384388) - See http://maps.nationalgeographic.com/map-machine#s=h&c=28.49072093903085,%2035.38438796997072&z=12. Note the burned top of the mountain.

The above is only one example of evidence. I can give you much more. For example, if I had the space here, I could show you how the Bible is digitally signed in a way that guarantees that it is the Word of God. There are messages hidden in the Bible text that turn out to be fulfilled prophecy. The Bible hints at intelligent beings living in other dimensions that we can't see. There is no other book as mysterious as the Bible.

There is much evidence of God. We are fortunate to live at a time where technology makes it possible for us to easily see for ourselves that the Bible is accurate and true. Please check it out.

Thank you for providing examples of circular logic. The Bible cannot prove the Bible, sorry. The Bible is also not mysterious, the only mystery is how anyone that has read it believes it. If you can provide some of this peer reviewed, testable, and falsifiable evidence for god there is a Nobel Prize waiting for you, so please submit this evidence.

rabidatheist - You wrote "If you can provide some of this peer reviewed, testable, and falsifiable evidence for god there is a Nobel Prize waiting for you, so please submit this evidence." Falsified??? I doubt that the satellite images in the Google Earth satellite view are all falsified. Testable??? If your eyes work, look at it for your own self. You can test the evidence by repeatedly viewing it any time you wish. Peer reviewed??? Think for yourself. You don't need a peer review to tell you what to think when it's obvious. However, for a scholarly peer review check out the documentary at this YouTube URL <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXf2IDS-9g0>;. The video refers to evidence you can verify via Google Earth. Mt. Horeb, the split rock of Horeb, Pharoah's chariots and army skeletal remains in the Gulf of Aqaba, the alter built by Moses, the stones upon which the golden calf was placed ... are all visible via Google Earth. In light of the large amount of evidence found and documented, you need to reconsider your stance on the existence of God.
You said “The Bible cannot prove the Bible”. By that logic, a math book can’t prove the existence of irrational numbers.
You said “The Bible is also not mysterious”. I suspect you haven’t read it.

Troy boy - it is ironic that someone who clearly despises black people is consumed by so much darkness (though on the INSIDE).

Did you know the perverse murderers? Somehow, you seem sympathetic of their position... Especially since you keep choosing to deflect attention from their evil deeds, focusing instead upon what - in your cold, raging world - is the true significance, that black people deserve to get what they dish out. Do you see these dark, empty murderers as the purveyors of justice?

My heart hurt when I read your posts. Maybe you posture anonymously on this board, manifesting the internalized rage you feel trapped in your neutered world... Perhaps you have been submerged so long in misinformation, antipathy and darkness that you recoil from the light. Maybe you're just kind of lazy intellectually, but not kin to these creatures masquerading as human beings...

But, if you are one of them, why? Why, when there are so many fulfilling and worthy ways of living to choose from? Why choose anger and hate over peace and love? Love requires mord courage than hate, peace more strength than anger.

Why?

Parents, do not have kids and then let them find for themselves. Spend tine with them, play with them, teach them, take them to church. Do not leave them to be tought by daycares or schools. If you do not teach them between right and wrong no one will.
You take away light and all that is left is darkness. Take away God and all that is left is Evil.

Spent one horrible and depressing year there 1972-1973. Joliet, the city that invented the color grey. I see nothing has changed in 40 years.

this is not about how much time spent with your kids, loving them, abusing them, We have different situations here, one anti social Joshua, and one anti social girl my daughters went to school with and said if she was going to get you she was going to do just that and didn't care about the consequences, We have a daughter that trusted her father enough to call him to ask to help get rid of the bodies. thats a trusting relationship with parent and child if I ever saw one,and a cops son who obviously tried to make sure to show everyone that he is not like his mom...This is showing humans and the way people can spontaneously come up with a plan and act on it,This is showing how in reality you are never safe not even from the people you know because most people that are killed are killed by someone they knew. This shows or should show others to tighten up on their trusting of others,This has nothing to do with they way these kids were raised this has everything to do with humans having to up one another and prove something to each other weather it be showing how crazy you are or how devoted you are People need to realize people murder, for the most stupidest things that some times do not make sense because it was just that a senseless murder..None of these kids benefited from this, they only wanted to show how crazy they were.and once one done something so crazy as to kill someone then the others found out their not as crazy and got scared and followed suit.all said they fear Joshua

Do yourself a favor, ignore this fool rabidarsewipe.

“Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words,.... Swift to speak either before God or men; that takes upon him to speak upon a subject, or return an answer to a question, before he has thoroughly thought of it, and well considered it, and digested what he should say; see Ecclesiastes 5:2; or "hasty in matters" (x); in his business; runs rashly and precipitately into things, without duly considering within himself what is right and proper to be done, and without taking the advice of others; there is more hope of a fool than of him; of one that has not the gift of elocution, or not so much sagacity in business, and yet takes time to think, and advises with others.”

In more lay terms: Only a fool would quote from some Boolean search that will be bombed to tell you what you obviously want to hear and read.

Sorry for SPAM, but let me give you the other side. Stuuuuuupid, here are a few of scores of 1000s of passages that are NOT out of context. They show proof-postive that what Hitler (kinda like Obama) said, or did, in public was nowhere near what he said thought or said in private, let alone did in governing and war:

Exempli Gratia: Many historians say that Hitler had a general covert plan, which some say existed even before the Nazis' rise to power, to destroy Christianity within the Reich, which was to be accomplished through control and subversion of the churches and to be completed after the war.

Many clergy were killed by the Nazis. In the annexed territory of Reichsgau Wartheland the persecution was most severe: churches were systematically closed and most priests were either killed, imprisoned, or deported to the General Government. Eighty per cent of the Catholic clergy and five bishops of Warthegau were sent to concentration camps in 1939; 108 of them are regarded as blessed martyrs.

Religious persecution was not confined to this region: in Dachau concentration camp alone, 2,600 Catholic priests from 24 different countries were killed.

The Catholic Church was particularly suppressed in Poland: between 1939 and 1945, an estimated 3,000 members (18%) of the Polish clergy, were murdered; of these, 1,992 died in concentration camps.

In 1999 Julie Seltzer Mandel, while researching documents for the "Nuremberg Project", discovered 150 bound volumes collected by Gen. William (aka Wild Bill, also first CIA director) Donovan as part of his work on documenting Nazi war crimes. Donovan was a senior member of the U.S. prosecution team and had compiled large amounts of evidence that Nazis persecuted Christian Churches.

In a 108-page outline titled "The Nazi Master Plan" Office of Strategic Services (OSS, which became CIA) investigators argued that the Nazi regime had a plan to reduce the influence of Christian churches through a campaign of systematic persecutions. "Important leaders of the National Socialist party would have liked to meet this situation [of church influence] by complete extirpation of Christianity and the substitution of a purely racial religion," said the report. The most persuasive evidence came from "the systematic nature of the persecution itself."
Among eastern religions, Hitler described religious leaders such as "Confucius, Buddha, and Mohammed" as providers of "spiritual sustenance".

In this context, Hitler's connection to Mohammad Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem — which included asylum in 1941, the honorary rank of an SS Major-General, and a "respected racial genealogy" — has been interpreted more as a sign of respect than political expedience.
Hitler expressed admiration for the Muslim military tradition and directed Himmler to initiate Muslim SS Divisions:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13th_SS (1st Croatian)

However, Nazi-era Minister of Armaments and War Production Albert Speer acknowledged that Hitler was only cooperating with Muslim figures, such as al-Husseini, because he felt the antisemitic views they shared would eventually help him win power and influence over the Middle East in the long run.

According to Speer, Hitler stated in private, "The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?" Speer also stated that when he was discussing with Hitler events which might have occurred had Islam absorbed Europe:
"Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate and conditions of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire."
At least the first part is happening! Right, rabidarsewipe?

You certified your need for psychiatric help when you said "Hitler (kinda like Obama)". You also omitted the fact that is in YOUR Wiki article that the Franciscan Friar made a martyr out of himself by taking someone's place. Be careful what you ask for...you just might get it. In all of your rambling I failed to notice a single piece of writing that would make Hitler an atheist. As for the deaths of Christians during his reign, are you really going to try and tell me that Christians have never killed Christians that just happen to believe in s different flavor of the myth? On 30 January 1933, Adolf Hitler was appointed Chancellor. In his address to the Reichstag on March 23 he acknowledged Christian belief as the "unshakeable foundation of the moral and ethical life of our people", he promised to honour the Holy See's concordats with individual German states, to maintain government support for church-related schools, uphold religious education in the public schools Oh, and good job with your first post trying to insult, or demean those that don't believe in god or the Bible by using a passage from the very Bible we don't believe in.

Everyone is making comments about poor parenting. I can't imagine the kind of courage it took for that father to report his daughter and her "friends" to the police. Sometimes, very good parents get very bad kids. No one would ever start out to raise a monster like this but it happened. Also, I have looked at their pictures, it would take something pretty wonderful for them to lure me to their house. Didn't the fiancee of one of the victims tell The Herald she just thought he was there for sex? That was the oddest statement I have ever heard from someone that was to marry a man in a few weeks.

joliet resident,

I agree, the statement about the victims just being there "for sex" was odd in light of the fact that one was engaged, but who knows how much of that is true. I thought the fiancee's claim was that her groom-to-be was dropping off his friend, and the *friend* was there for sex. But maybe the engaged couple weren't monogamous.

I have mixed feelings about the parents. You're right, the guy who called the police might have been very courageous but he might also not have been told the whole story (i.e., he may not have known the extent of the daughter's involvement when he made the call). It's tragic for the parents if they were decent people who ended up sociopaths, but I can't help but think the son of the police sergeant might be the way he is because he was indulged and enabled. Who knows - hopefully justice will be served... at least whatever justice can be had in a situation where two young men had their lives so carelessly snuffed out.

No one mentioned Insane Clown Posse who's lyrics specifically mention having sex on top of dead bodies and sleeping next to dead bodies. That and the drugs these kids were taking contributed to this.........As a parent who dealt with a teenager who listened to this crap and who's friend killed her father I know first hand what this about. Young adults who mindlessly follow ICP it's pathetic but true. In face, ICP has it's annual "gathering" in downstate Illinois. Coincidence? I don't think so

People will follow what they choose if believing in the bible is their salvation so be it. The rest of us should be able to choose freely. We arent damned if we choose not to believe that's rediculous. As for saying we should be rejected for believing animals have rights and homosexuals should be free to love gtfo. I don't follow the bible but I'm pretty sure it says god loves all his children. No where does it say gays are not allowed. It says a man shall not touch a boy... I read that as pedophiles. Also, because we don't follow the bible does not mean we want every horrible thing in the world to happen. You wonder why people veer away so vicously? Its because people push their religions onto people. Be satisfied with it for yourself.
