Evangelist Susie “Diane” Robinson

At age 65, passed away into the Lord’s arms surrounded by family and love at Silver Cross Hospital. She was born in Joliet, IL, to Catherine Parnell and Leroy Webster and attended DuSable High School in Chicago.

She lived in Joliet, where she helped so many people. She was baptized at an early age at Bethlehem Temple in Lockport by Bishop Elsy. She was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at Christ Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith where she became an Evangelist and served faithfully under Bishop J.E. Moore. She was a devoted mother of four children, a dedicated grandmother to 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Robinson Sr.

Evangelist Robinson had a passion for the church. She loved helping in any way for anyone.  She loved her nieces and nephews, and all that she adopted. Special friends, Marsheela Bouie and Linda Hester.

She leaves to mourn, her mother, Catherine Parnell, one sister, Sandra (Eugene) McCadory, two brothers, Anthony F. (Billie) Parnell and Tyrone (Tammi) Parnell, three sons, John Pierre Robinson, Jr., Kevin Robinson, Shawndee Terrance Boyd, and one daughter, Chalondria Boyd and a special person, Aaron Simpson.
