State Offering Free Car Seat Safety Checks on Nov. 17
The Illinois Department of Human Services will be doing free car seat safety checks from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 17 at the East Joliet Fire Department, 911 S. Briggs St., Joliet.
Appointments are required, and the child using the seat should accompany the car owner to the event.
