Richard Michael Pierce

Age 51, died Thursday, January 31, 2013. Born July 22, 1961 in Mobile, AL, and has resided in Joliet, IL for 43 years. Richard accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mt. Arrant Baptist Church in Theodore, AL.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Dukes, and mother, Lula Mae Alexander.

Richard is survived by his wife, Shelda Pierce, two sisters, Evonne Brown and Shauntae Alexander, four brothers, Robert and Antonio Pierce, Desmond and Cortez Alexander, one daughter, Chanikki Simpson, stepdaughter, Judy White, stepsons, Joysun Howard, and Johnny Nettles, eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service on Saturday, February 9, 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Eddie L. Pierce, officiating.
