Effective June 15, 2012, there will be

New stop signs will be installed at Reed Street and
Western Avenue by the city of Joliet on June 15.

This will create an all-way stop. Currently, there is only a stop sign on Western Avenue. The additional stop signs will be on the north and south side of Reed Street, where it intersects with Western Avenue.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving in the area.
