James H. "Jimmy" Farmer, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Monday, June 18, 2012. Age 49 years.
Survived by his wife of four years, Amanda "Mandi" Farmer (nee Perry); Five children, Rebecca (Salvador) Thorn, Justice, Joshua, Kaleob and Izzabella; His mother, Ardis Liccardi; Four sisters, Toni Liccardi, Ardis "Sissy" Farmer, Janice (Abdellah) Belmecheri and Melissa (Joe) Lucas; Five brothers, Larry (Dawn) Jack, Kenny, Johnny (Debbie) and Robbie (Kelly) Farmer; His mother-in-law, Laura (Sam) Cast; father-in-law, James (Jyme) Perry and sister-in-law, Dina (Justin) Perry. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Justin H. Farmer, Sr. and a brother, Arthur Joseph Farmer.
Jimmy was born October 4, 1962 in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Central Class of 1980. Employed with M&E Components in Rockdale for the past 6 years. Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jimmy's organs were donated to Gift of Hope so others may live on.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, June 23 at 3:30 P.M. Rev. Dale Steenhoven officiating. Memorials to the Farmer Children Educational Fund will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of services.
